Bibles For Africa
Gary Myers, a member of Valley Life Church, is leading a team to Africa in June whose purpose is to train African church planters. One of their activities will be to purchase Bibles in Burundi to give away to people who have never owned a Bible. In fact, for some of these recipients, the Bible will be the most valuable thing in their village.

What an exciting day it would be for you as a believer to receive your first copy of God’s Word. If you want to help make that happen, place a financial gift in the VLC offering envelope and mark it “Bibles.” Gary will purchase the Bibles when he gets to Africa. Gary leaves on June 14, so please do this by Sunday, June 8th. You can hear Gary talk about his upcoming trip to Africa here.

NEW - VLC Men’s Bible Study Group
Here’s a great opportunity to get to know some of the VLC guys, watch a Pastor Mark Driscoll teaching video, pray, and just hang out. The get together is held on Thursdays from 6:30 pm to about 7:45 pm and is led by Keith Murray at his home at 41524 Ridgeview Lane, Sweet Home. (Note: This is a new street off Pleasant Valley Road and is not on Mapquest so you may need to call Keith at 409-0962 for directions.)

Sermon CDs - Now Free!
The Sunday morning sermon CDs are now free at the Life Center. There are current and older messages available. You can also listen to the messages online on this site as well.

Valley Life Transitions to the ESV Bible Translation
Valley Life has transitioned from the NIV Bible to the ESV (English Standard Version). The reason for this move is that the NIV, though a good translation, is a thought-for-thought translation, whereas, the ESV is a word-for-word translation.
Here's what respected author and speaker Dr. Ravi Zacharias has to say about it...
“Retaining the majesty of language with the clarity of thought, the English Standard Version is a grand accomplishment.” Dr. Ravi Zacharias
