Patrick is the lead pastor/preaching pastor of Valley Life Church. His experience in songwriting and band leading also finds him serving in worship through music as well. Patrick is the vision caster for Valley Life and keeps the church connected within the Acts 29 Church Planting Network.

Patrick and his wife Sarah live in Lebanon with their five children. For relaxation, Patrick can be found wrestling with his kids, writing and recording music and riding his motorcycle.

Steve McGuyre
Pastor/Elder • Community Group leader • Counselor

Steve's ministry role at Valley Life is to do most of the counseling as well as overseeing the membership process. He also teaches at East Linn Christian Academy.

Steve and Mindy have three children but are empty nesters. Their daughter Kari is married to Carl Gerig. Kari and they have two boys. Steve's passion (besides Jesus and Mindy) is hockey.

John Wiens

Pastoral candidate • Community Group leader and coach • Children's Ministry director

Jason Ogden - Jason is a Valley Life Community Group coach. Small groups are vital to the ministry of Valley Life and Jason works with his Community Group leaders to ensure that the groups are healthy. Jason is also an elder/pastor candidate at VLC.

Jason and Pam have four children. Jason is a police officer in Sweet Home.

Dan is a Community Group coach at Valley Life. In this role, he oversees several community group leaders and assists them in whatever way he can to make the small group experience a healthy one.

Dan and his wife Amy live in Lebanon and have four children. Dan enjoys motorcycle riding and being in the great outdoors for relaxation.

Gary Myers
Community Group Coach

Gary is a Community Group coach at VLC. Gary works for OMS, a missions organization, and applies his knowledge and experience in local and world missions to help Valley Life fulfill its missional mandate. Gary is presently in the Philippines.

Gary, who lives in Albany, is single and can regularly be found in far-away places like Africa and Asia where he leads training and equipping programs for native pastors.
