"The Expectations of a Spirit-Led Church"
Acts 13: 4-12

Our church should desperately desire to be a Spirit-led church. From this passage in Acts, we find that as a Spirit-led church we will have great opportunity for the Gospel (vs. 6-7), we will have great opposition to the Gospel (vs. 8-10), and we will have great conversions due to the saving power of the Gospel (vs. 11-12).

What does that mean for us here at Valley Life...as John Piper said, “If we don’t join him [the Holy Spirit], he will leave us behind.”

Who Will Help the Churches in Haiti?

The images streaming in from Haiti are disturbing. We feel pity, sorrow and a sense of helplessness at the extent of their plight. The waves of humanitarian aid are washing ashore in Haiti and beginning to meet this massive need but little if any of this medicine will soothe the sores of the suffering church.
